Maxwell Begoon

Max is a Partner at New Peaks Partners, where he focuses on supporting founder-led and entrepreneur-owned companies through strategic growth, operational excellence, and disciplined capital deployment. A hands-on investor and operator, Max works closely with portfolio management teams to establish scalable infrastructure, optimize financial performance, and evaluate strategic M&A opportunities.

Since joining New Peaks, Max has worked directly with leadership teams across multiple industries, including healthcare services, aviation, and industrial services, to build systems, evaluate expansion initiatives, and support long-term growth execution.

Max has served in operational and corporate development roles across several private companies, including aviation services, diagnostics, and specialty industrial services platforms, where he has helped establish core back-office and financial functions, supported budgeting and forecasting, and driven business development and acquisition initiatives.

Max began his career in investment banking with Capital Value Advisors and Industria Partners, advising on mergers & acquisitions in the consumer and industrial sectors.

Max is a graduate of the University of Denver where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration in Finance with a concentration in Data Analytics. Max is from New Canaan, Connecticut.

Dylan Johnson

Dylan is a Director at New Peaks Partners and currently serves as President of Elevation Diagnostics, where he leads the company’s strategic expansion, operational execution, and growth into new markets. Under his leadership, Elevation Diagnostics has scaled its clinical and environmental laboratory capabilities, strengthened internal infrastructure, and built new partnerships to support continued expansion across the Rocky Mountain region and beyond.

At New Peaks Partners, Dylan focuses on supporting portfolio companies through hands-on operational involvement, data-driven decision-making, and disciplined execution. He works closely with founders and management teams to build scalable processes, evaluate growth initiatives, and position businesses for long-term value creation.

Dylan attended the University of Denver where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration in Finance and Economics. He was a captain of the University of Denver Men’s Lacrosse team where he was a four year starter and received All-American accolades. He was also a member of the USA U-19 Men’s Lacrosse team where he won a gold medal at the world games. Dylan is from Englewood, Colorado.
